Ricardo Carreón

Ricardo Carreon has been one of the key executives for high tech companies in Latin America in the last three decades. Ricardo started his career in 1990 working for Digital Equipment Corporation as a Marketing Manager. He then moved to perform several roles for Novell Corporation, including General Manager for Mexico. In 1999 he joined Intel Corporation, where he served several executive roles in Marketing and Sales before he took the lead of the Latin American Region, headquartered in São Paulo, Brasil. Ricardo´s career spanned the growth of the Internet and of mobile computing in Latin America. At Intel he ran several of the most successful programs to make personal computing grow exponentially in the region. With his leadership, Sales of Notebook computers in Latin America quickly passed sales of desktop computers becoming the hottest electronic products in the second half of the 1990s. Ricardo also influenced vertical industries, such as the Hospitality Division he ran for NCR Corporation as General Manager for Latin America and The Caribbean. He also influenced the Travel industry as Vice President for Latin America and the Caribbean for Sabre Travel Network.

Oscar is an IT professional which developed his career most of the time in Services Business, being a trust advisor for large corporate companies in topics like High End Servers, Enterprise Security, IT Operations Management and DevOps. In 90´s was trust advisor for companies that introduced the first High Tolerance Systems based on Clusters and SANs from Compaq, HP, Microsoft and Novell, developing Solution Services that allowed large companies save costs and increase productivity. Later, in 2000 joined Novell where in 18 years developed the Services Business managing more than 250 professionals that support the business in LATAM, with Technologies that includes Security and Digital Transformation for large finance, retail, government and education customers. He has developed large expertise managing and selling the largest sales of Identity and Access Management in Latin America with customers with more than 20 million users providing Custom Development and Services. He was member of the Executive Team for Latin America in Novell LATAM.

Gustavo is a professional with more than 20 years of experience in information technologies, information security, business continuity, operational risk and business processes. Within his areas of expertise, Gustavo has lead projects in multiple industries and countries in information security governance, security architecture design, design frameworks of reference for process management in IT, design of operational risk management methodology (ISO 31000), model design of protection of unstructured data (government, classification, DLP and DRM), implementation Identity Management Technology, implementation and auditing of the Information Security Management (ISMS), data protection implementation personal and ethical hacking. Gustavo has certifications in personal data protection (IAITG-AENOR), risk management (G31000), process management, IT governance (COBIT 5), information security, leading auditor in business continuity (BSI) and security of information (IRCA), and strategy and innovation methodology (LEGO Serious Play). Gustavo currently serves as manager of information security services at LINKIT PERU and as a teacher of the diplomat in architecture of information security at Cibertec Peru. .
